My research explores how microorganisms adapt to environmental stress through changes in membrane lipid composition and gene expression. I currently study the extremotolerant fungus Aureobasidium pullulans, using lipidomics, transcriptomics and microscopy to understand membrane remodelling and the mechanisms that enable cellular resilience under challenging environmental conditions
